Samantha is seven months pregnant with her third child. Her husband left him two months ago due to some irreconcilable differences. She is also taking care of her two kids with ages 3 and 5 years old. She is working as a crew in fast food chain near her place. She does not have enough income for her family and she does not have enough money for the birth of her child. Since her due date is within a month, the owner of the food chain forced her to take her maternity leave. Samantha refuses at first because she badly needed the money for her hospitalization. She does not know now what to do about her birth. She is desperate to earn money yet she knew she is not capable enough to do so.

Martha a concerned neighbor of Samantha suggested that she should try to apply for Medicaid in order to help her with her case. Samantha was not sure if she can be accepted so she made a search about Medicaid eligibility in their place. Because of the information that she knew, she earned the guts and applied for Medicaid. Since she badly needed medical assistance for her pregnancy, she was granted Medicaid.
